Background of the Original Piece
Refined HeArt is a precious piece created during a delicate and enlightening time of my life.   I was diagnoised with Postpartum Cardiomyopathy and was placed on a left ventricle assist device for  5 years.  In 2023, the  vitale conditions around the device were at risk and led to my consistent weekly stays in the hospital til  October.  In October, I was admitted to the hospital while I waited for a heart transplant.  While in the hospital, I was able to tap back into my gift that I have sort of set to the side over the years, art.  During this time,  this amazing piece was created.
 
Details of the Original Piece
The Refined Heart piece was created November 2023 on canvas using Acrylic paint, the happy hybrid of paints. It resembles beauty and purity of heart with its soft pinks and purples  while showcasing its importance and value with gold. It is then finished and sealed in a resin with hints of sparkle to portray new and protected.
